The town was renamed Gas City boasting to grow to a pop of 50 thous, but sadly the gas wells dried up. Visit the Gas City museum at 210 South A St opened 1-4 sat&sun, relax at Beaner Linn Park 701 S Broadway or visit one of our shops. The Rebel Lodge is a fully restored historic brick building located in the heart of James Dean's hometown. lt is right across the street from the James Dean Museum, just around the corner from Main street, and only blocks from The James Dean Gallery. The building will sleep 4-5 with a comfy double bed, a pull out sofa and an additional sofa. It is decorated with fun mid century furniture and decor. Everything is freshly up to date with new furnace, & air conditioning. Please enjoy your stay!

30+day DISCOUNT!! This clean, spacious, modern open floor plan has a cozy living space perfect for 1-2 guests. I often host travel workers seeking a nice place to call home after a long days work. The calendar is blocked for potential guests needing longterm. I host shorter stays between the long ones… often parents visiting their student at Taylor or IWU. If my calendar doesn’t “look” available but you need longterm, then book the first 30 days to secure it, then biweekly after that!
