Cozy apartment & sauna in the center of Saariselkä

Welcome to my holiday home in the heart of Saariselkä – only a few minutes' walk away of Urho Kekkonen National Park trailheads. I renovated and furnished my home completely in 2023 with all modern amenities while preserving the traditional stone-built fireplace and Finnish sauna. With three beds upstairs and a large sofa bed downstairs, the accommodation is comfortable for various types of groups. The remote working space, fully equipped kitchen and laundry also make it ideal for a longer stay.

A house by the Inari lake

A house by the lake Inari with beautiful nature to enjoy around it in a small village with no services. There is another house next to rented house where old couple lives and takes care of property. This property is not good fit for those who can't pay attension to reading house manual and rules. You must be willing to live like it would be your own. This is not just another object for you to use like you want, this is our home and you are most welcomed and appreciated when you respect this.

Nice apartment and meeting with happy reindeer

The apartment is renovated in the year 2017 and it is a part of the bigger building. It is located 400 meters from our home ( and the lake), 18 km from Inari (nearest grocery and restaurants) and 350 km from Rovaniemi. In the apartment you will find all normal facilities and sauna. This is a good place to see Northern Lights and beautiful nature is around you here. If you are interested to see how people really live in Lappland, but you also appreciate your own peace, this place is for you.

Wilderness cabin with sauna on river island

Cosy log cabin in Ivalojoki river with all amenities needed for a comfortable and adventurous stay: please read the full description before booking! The cabin lies on an island, the last part needs to be walked over the ice (safe from mid-December till April) or rowed with our small rowing boat (included). A cabin for those who want to cocoon surrounded by nature, gaze at northern lights undisturbedly, discover untouched snowy forests on snowshoes (included) and sleep in absolute silence.

High-quality holiday Villa, built in 2022, at a peaceful vantage point in Inari. Great views over the lake Rahajärvi from large windows. Surrounded by authentic Lappish nature. In case you do not want to explore the nature for some reason, there are two smart TV's (65" and 55"), PS5 and Nintendo Switch to play with. Bedroom’s TV is for streaming only. Distances; closest neighbour 0,4km, bus stop 5km, supermarket 15km, restaurant 15km, airport 25km. Note! Villa's fireplace is not in use.

Private paradise(smoke sauna experience extra fee)

This cottage might look too good to be true - but it's real! Our log cabin called Savu is located just next to the beautiful, rocky, fishy and pure lake Ukko as you can see in pictures. Savu is furnished with style by Finnish design. You can chill along fireplace and check aurora borealis from your own pier. Savu has also an exotic smoke sauna in the same building what you can also rent for an extra fee. Hot tube is also possible to rent. Ice swimming is possible as well.

Grandfather's cosy cabin by riverbank

Perfect accommodation for skiers, hikers, fishers and those who appreciate unique cosy environment. Just 1,5 km from airport, 10 minutes from Ivalo municipality center, and 25 km from Saariselkä tourist attractions. Modern, massive wooden and well-equipped villa at the foot of the Kiilopää fell. Quiet location with great outdoor activities for hiking, skiing and cycling. Great for a couple, family or a small group of friends, and especially for self-employed travelers. Equipment rental and Suomen Latu Kiilopää within walking distance. Less than 20 minutes to Saariselkä skiing slopes and other services by car, 10-minute walk to Urho Kekkonen National Park.

Studio with own entrance & a kitchen and a bathroom. 10 min walk from the bus station, from the supermarkets and other services. The Ivalo airport is only 10km away. There are two single beds. Desk and chairs You will also find a kitchenette with fridge, stove and microwave, crockery and cutlery. The studio has a private bathroom with a shower. Towels and toilet paper are provided. Free Wi-Fi.

Paritalon pienemmän puolen yksiö, josta löytyy kaikki tarvittava lyhyeen tai pidempäänkin oleskeluun. Asunnossa on kaksi erillistä 80cm leveää sänkyä, jotka voi yhdistää parisängyksi. Inarin kirkonkylän ruokakaupat ja muut palvelut ovat muutaman minuutin kävelymatkan päässä ja Juutuanvaaran hiihtoladuille kävelee vartissa.
