Welcome to Jack's Place! This fully renovated cottage is located just outside of Kalkaska. It shares beach access to our sandy Manistee Lake and is located in a quaint cottage community. ORV's/Snowmobiles are welcome as trail systems are easily accessible from your front door. Parking for 3 vehicles and a truck/trailer combination. Main floor is open concept that leads to a wrap around deck with BBQ gas grill. The basement is finished with two twin beds, futon, pool table. Laundry room.

Hidden up in the north woods of Michigan, this quiet chalet is the perfect spot to unwind. Located on a no wake lake you can enjoy nature at its finest without all the sounds to distract you. The best feature of this space is the lakeside screened in porch, it is perfect for everything. Enjoy your coffee in the morning, open up your laptop and work remotely in the afternoon, and then enjoy a glass of wine with your dinner, all while looking at the lake and relaxing. Life at the lake.

Harry's Hideaway

Come stay at a recently finished cabin close to Manistee Lake in Kalkaska County. A four season paradise open to snowmobiling, orv’s, skiing, fishing, swimming and more. Pull thru drive for trucks, trailers, and boats. Orv’s, boats and snowmobiles are welcome. 3 external electrical outlets for charging. Plenty of room for the whole family with three bedrooms and one and a half bath. Sleeping provided for 6 but space would allow for 8. Air mattress and extra bedding not provided.

2026!! Couples retreat or solo! Even a third person/couch makes into a twin bed..Directly on the Manistee river.....this cabin is semi primitive but has a lot of amenities. Excellent spot for a quiet overnight or weekend !! It’s easy access into the river and is shallow. Great for navigating up and down stream for fishing. You’ll love this spot because of the location and the ambiance. This place is good for couples, solo adventurers, fisherman, kayaks, tubes, canoeing

Direct access to Snowmobile/ATV trails right form the property (No tailering Needed)! There are 2 beautiful lakes very close by... to the West 2.5 miles is the “Bear Lake” public access, to the East 8 miles is the “Lake Margarethe” public access and short drives to multiple ski resorts.

We love this place, and everyone we bring here does too. Newly renovated it has just the right amount of rustic and new. This log cabin is a great place to unwind with a game of disc golf, corn hole or just relax by the campfire. Perch Lake is a half mile up the road if you like to fish, swim, or kayak. only 30 min. from Traverse City the possibilities are endless. Casinos, wineries, and fine dining and tons of outdoor activities.
