Come and experience the beauty, peace and tranquility of this Gem on a farm between the mountains, 1 hour drive from the small town of Kareedouw. NO LOADSHEDDING! Completely off the grid. Lovely inside braai/fireplace as well as outside braai. Wood for sale. Take an easy walk for 1 hour through the forest to a private waterhole, where you can swim and have a picnic. For longer stays there are many activities in the area to choose from. Reception and electricity are very limited, expect low light/candle evenings. Your stay helps fund a reforestation youth development project on the property. You can plant your own tree or let us do it. We offer walks to the nearby indigenous forests and river.

Storms River Village, situated 11km from the Tsitsikamma National Park, is the adventure capital of Tsitsikamma and forms part of South Africa’s famous Garden Route. The unique self-catering Tin House is situated in the garden of a private residence with gate access and on-site parking. A stay of at least two nights is recommended, as there is so much to see and do in the area. Perfect for a couple, a small family, or close friends. Free WiFi. It’s a short walk to the Krom river. Guests have access to the garden, jetty and canal. There is a canoe to use. We live in the main house a few metres away.
