The Barrack is part of a 130-year-old family estate, just off the Mall Road, Mussoorie. It is a standalone structure, flanked by massive, millennia-old, Himalayan rock features that give this home its uniqueness. The Barrack was recently renovated and re-decorated and now offers guest all the modern amenities and appliances needed for a comfortable stay. The interiors are modern and tasteful . They retain the colonial Himalayan home charm, with elements of pine ceilings and wood framed windows .

We are an artist and designer couple who have built our dream little cottage in Kanatal with a lot of love and attention to detail. It has two bedrooms, a fully-equipped modern kitchen, a wraparound balcony with uninterrupted views of Himalayan peaks, a terrace, and a little backyard where we grow vegetables. The cottage is within a Kiwi and Apple Orchard with hundreds of trees spread over 4 Acres of terraced land. There is a lush green uninhabited valley below, with massive snowbound Himalayan peaks ahead on the horizon. We have Airtel wifi. There is private parking available for 2 cars. From the parking spot to the cottage, there is a gradual walk of about 90 meters. This walk is inside our orchard and not on the road. We have a caretaker and staff on the property to cook for you.

There is a caretaker present at all times and a chef on call to cook you fresh meals. The caretaker can help bring supplies when needed and brief you on how to get around.
