Cottage is Off Grid, lights and fridge are solar powered,. Cooker, hot water, heating and shower are powered by gas.

The stone cottage which is over 250 years old has been recently renovated and retains its traditional style: stone and white-washed walls, inglenook fireplace with wood burning stove. There are also modern conveniences: heating, Wifi, TV with Netflix and fully equipped kitchen. Downstairs there is an open-plan kitchen, dining and living area with a vaulted ceiling and the bathroom. Upstairs is a cosy double bedroom. Seat View Lodge - in the heart of West Cork

Seat View Lodge is a beautiful cottage located in the heart of West Cork. The cottage is newly built with a lovely balance of modern and rustic characteristics. The house has stunning views, a large garden and a spacious interior. The house has everything that you could need for either a weekend getaway or for a long visit. Glengarriff Lodge (formally Lord Bantry's Cottage)

Glengarriff Lodge, or what used to be Lord Bantry's Cottage, is a luxury self-catering space hidden away on a secluded, leafy island surrounded by 50-acres of ancient oak woodlands in Glengarriff, West Cork. The estate was the location of a former hunting lodge for the Earls of Bantry and offers guests a rare glimpse of a truly magical part of old Ireland, in an absolutely gorgeous and pristine setting with privacy and comfort.

The Byre - a rural escape near Bantry in West Cork

The Byre at O’Brien’s Cottage nestles in the hills of West Cork 13km from Bantry. This traditional stone building provides ground floor studio accommodation. There is a king-size bed and a double sofa-bed which are both in the living area which can accommodate up to 4 guests if you don't mind a bit of a squash! if you are a party of 2 but need both beds, please let me know so I can provide extra linen.

The house is open plan downstairs consisting of a kitchen, sitting area and a bathroom with shower. Upstairs there is bedroom and a small bathroom. The space is very bright and airy. There is a back yard . There is a good internet service within the house. The kitchen is fully equipped for those who like to self cater. It is a five minute walk to the main street, sea walk and public transport services.
