This is a beautifully renovated, private, 2 bedroom, first floor of a duplex. The yard is fenced in and has a large deck. The unit is very light and bright and tastefully decorated. The rooms are very large and the kitchen is open to the living room. It is in a quaint little village with a little country store just steps away where you can find almost anything you need! 10 minutes from Bates College and many lakes. Hop on the highway and be in Portland in 40 minutes or the ocean in 45 minutes!

Room B is a small (10’ x 10’) but cozy room with full size bed with luxury mattress and private bathroom (5’ x8’) with towel warmer & glass shower. The room includes a desk, TV, minifridge, microwave, coffee maker, dresser, reading chair & private entrance. In the summer we have bicycles to use on the rail trail and kayaks for the Kennebec River. Year round hot tub. Downtown is just a block away where there are numerous restaurants and pubs with live music. Hiking trails & waterfalls nearby.

Beautifully manicured lawn/gardens with a fire pit surrounded by the peaceful sounds of nature. A large dock to take in the spectacular views of bald eagles, loons, and blue herons. Owners boat is attached for occasional boat rides. This guesthouse is newly built with a covered porch overlooking the serene lake. MARCH-APRIL DAILY. Medicine Hill is a 136 acre farm on the Sandy River complete with a swimming hole and an entire island to explore. We grow vegetables, herbs & flowers. Our animals include sheep, chickens & rabbits. You will have full access to all areas of the farm! Spend time fishing or relaxing on the river. Or literally just sitting on the porch unwinding and taking it all in. 4 private bedrooms have stunning views surrounded by trees or fields. And if the Chef is available..EAT!!!
