The Lodge on Pine Ridge will give you a taste of nature without sacrificing comfort. With 50 acres to yourself, you can enjoy quiet morning walks on the grounds or an evening campfire. Outdoor adventures abound: you are just minutes from the Allegheny River, Emlenton bike trailhead & Cook Forest State Park. Just a 10-minute drive up river you'll find the quaint town of Foxburg, home of the Allegheny Grill, Foxburg Wine Cellars and Divani Chocolatier and coffee bar. Come, enjoy beautiful PA!

Cheerful 3 bedroom cottage on the Allegheny River

We built the summer cottage in 2006, for a summer home stayed on. We lived in the cottage 8 years when we wanted a bigger house. We love it year around. We are isolated with 3 neighbors (not close) and the river at our front door. Good boating, kayaking, canoeing, paddle boarding, fishing, swimming , hiking, bird watching (with a eagle nest across the river). December through February, it is best if you come with 4 wheel drive. Having said that , we keep the road plowed and the hill sanded.

We are located 11 miles off of Interstate 80 & 12 miles off of State Route 322.

"Bearly Affordable", located along the Allegheny River nestled in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains. The cottage offers private river frontage for canoeing, kayaking, swimming, and fishing. Cottage sleeps 6 and has most of the amenities of home including air conditioning, forced air heat, wood stove, well and septic. Additional staying quarters located in an adjacent cedar Cub House which has 4 beds, 2 lofts, and air conditioning. Cub House Closed for Season. Opens back up April 1st.

Canoe and kayak rentals available nearby or bring your own and take them out on my riverfront property. Walk or ride your bike on the rails to trails 3 mile walkway to Foxburg or go much further on other trails in Emlenton. Explore my 39 acres of woods with deer, fox, wild turkeys, bear, etc. Explore the four old logging paths.

The cabin is located upstream from both Clear Creek and Cook Forest State Parks, 15 min from Loletta and next door to the Allegheny National Forest. Here you will find quiet and seclusion while staying close enough to enjoy all the recreational opportunities you love! Landline can be used by guests unable to get cell coverage.

Kennerdell Country Retreat with Pool (May1-Sept30)

This bright and airy private home on a 9-acre property complete with an inground heated pool is the perfect place for a getaway. This home is big enough for you to bring your whole family or perhaps even plan a stay with extended family and friends. East Sandy Homestead Farm

A 170 year old farmhouse located on 100 acres of farm and woodlands. It is a peaceful location perfect for the family vacation, small group retreat, quilting retreat or a place of rest and relaxation. Great location for hiking, near the Oil Region Allegheny Bike trail, Allegheny River and East Sandy Creek. The surrounding woodland is great for hunting deer and turkey.
