Chill Urban Oasis at the Calmpound!

A lovely one-bedroom, 2 bed house in a beautiful tropical garden setting near the Bay and a mile from Cal. Truly and urban oasis in the middle of the city. We have some of the best weather in the country and create wonderful outdoor spaces to enjoy it. We live next door. Excellent walking neighborhood with easy public transit. The cottage is minutes from downtown SF (only 12 miles drive.) Long term guest are the best, so feel free to inquire. House accommodates two comfortably... Come chill!

Berkeley Hills Maybeck Cottage

Built in 1925, Maybecks' “Cubby” is your private, rustic, 750 sq ft, carriage house located less than a mile from Cal. Homey and basic - the deck is great for lunch, dinner, or just hanging out. It's an easy walk down to the gourmet ghetto, Thursday Markets, buses and BART. Carport provided, a car is recommended (hey it's located in the hills.) Not baby proofed, minimal fencing - sorry, no pets, babies or toddlers. Smoke free, no butts about it. Sorry, no loud music, or large gatherings.

You will be close to everything when you stay at this centrally-located place. This boho chic vibed-spacious home has everything you need! This home is spacious, family friendly, and has a view of both the Bay Bridge and Golden Gate Bridge. Space to be able to relax both inside or outside in the backyard on the deck. Approximately 5 min to Berkeley, 15 to Oakland, 20 to San Francisco, 1 hour to Napa. Tons of local restaurants, bars, grocery stores, and places to shop!

Cute, very quiet, private studio in-law with separate bedroom space, kitchen and private bathroom with shower (no tub). 415 Sq Ft. There is one queen bed in the bedroom and a full size pull out bed in the sofa (perfect for small kids). Apartment also has a small, private back yard area - great for those with small pets. Views of Golden Gate Bridge and much of the Bay Area visible from just outside your door. Tilden Park is just a few minutes drive from the property.
