My 100-year-old house has color and character, a wrap-around deck, views of water and Mt. Rainier, friendly neighbors, and lush landscape. A peaceful place for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers.

Very cozy living room has a peek view of the seasonal pond through white curtains, and inviting seating. You will find a white cubby cabinet desk for your computer time. Our cottage sits above Lake Washington with a beautiful water view. A peaceful respite, yet so close to the city. You can barbeque on the deck and watch the boats go by as ospreys fish in the little marina just below. Walk or ride bikes along Lake Wa. Blvd. to Seward Park offering its old-growth forest and pretty lakeside loop just one mile away. A short walk takes you to coffee shops and vibrant Columbia City is just 1.4 miles away with a convenient light rail station in the center of town.

Our cottage has an open loft style floor plan. Spacious, quiet, and light filled. 1.5 baths and 2 stories. Modern and elegant finishes on everything. Main floor has 1/2 bath off kitchen, and there is a full bathroom with shower near the bed located upstairs. It is a stand alone “guest house” in the back yard of the main house. Private parking right in front of the front door! Yard has fire pit, outdoor furniture and BBQ. A hidden oasis, right in the middle of the Ballard neighborhood.

15 minute drive to downtown Seattle. 25 minutes from SeaTac Airport. The newly renovated cottage is an absolute delight and I'm so excited to offer it as a short term rental. The cottage is located in a quiet neighborhood minutes walk from Morgan Junction (restaurants, coffee shops, grocery shopping), Lincoln Park (trails, green spaces galore, and a water front path), and Lowman Beach. The cottage offers peek a boo views of the Sound to enjoy with your morning coffee.

You'll love this light, airy, & super comfortable high performance cottage. Amid the treetops, you'll enjoy a uniquely "green" stay in a highly insulated & cozy cottage. The view deck expands this modern space which is complete with custom cabinets, bamboo floors and tile bath. Close to parks, a vibrant Columbia City street scene and the Light Rail. You get a great outlook on the neighborhood and view of Mt. Rainier, sometimes hiding in the clouds.

Waterfront Cabana with fireplace and hot tub

At the waters edge of Lake Tapps you’ll find our cabana. It’s hidden and private within our residential property. You’ll have the entire waterfront to yourself. Fish off the dock, kayak, or just relax in seclusion. Outdoors you’ll find a large covered porch, fireplace and hot tub. Inside- a queen wall Bed, small sofa bed, fireplace, cable TV, Wifi. Neighbors are not close. Please be aware the shower is in an outdoor room accessed through the bathroom.
