From the decking it's exhilarating watching the birds & boats as you are more or less right above the water's edge. The House on the Hill 9a Keose

Taigh air a’ Chnoc (The House on the Hill) sits above the harbour in the small community of Keose, with open views over a working island harbour and to the sea and hills beyond. A peaceful well-placed base for exploring the Isle of Lewis, just 20 minutes from Stornoway and around 30 minutes from Harris. The island is served by two ferry routes - advanced booking is strongly recommended, especially in peak season.
