Beautiful remote southeast Alaska waterfront home

Our beautiful home is located off grid/off road, far from the crowds in southeast Alaska. You cannot drive to/from us. We transport you in our cabin cruiser on arrival/departure. Our fabulous location is ideal for for wildlife watching, nature walks along the trail in the forest, saltwater and freshwater fishing, canoeing/kayaking in the bay and adjacent river and self guided hunting for Black Bear and Deer and use of a 16ft skiff/25 hp outboard with saltwater fishing equipment, canoes/kayak.

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway featuring large picture windows facing the sea providing sights of Gravina Island, Chatham Strait, and Guard Island Lighthouse. Relax and enjoy the view next to the fireplace or take a 5 minute walk to South Point Higgins Beach, locals’ favorite sunset spot. A kitchen with all the extras will feel like home. After a long day, soak in the tub with a good book. Stay on track with your fitness goals in our gym complete with a Peloton & free weights.

Beachwood Hideaway

Relax & enjoy your stay in this 3 bedroom, 1 bath upper level space in our duplex. The large upper deck area provides gorgeous water views of the Tongass Narrows and is located 11 miles north of town. *Please note as of 6/11/25: We love pets, have many of our own and have welcomed our guests' pets into our shared space for over 8 years. Unfortunately, we have sustained extreme damages from guests' pets throughout the last year. Due to this we are no longer able to allow pets in this space.

Beacon Point- ocean front 3 BR cabin at Survey Pt

Prime oceanfront cabin. World class Salmon/Halibut fishing from your doorstep. Right by Survey point marinas to hire charters, rent boats, process fish. Panoramic views of whales, eagles, endless wildlife. Full kitchen. Clover pass/Knudsen Cove food close by. Top cruise ship stop for Totem pole parks, fish hatcheries, Misty Fjords, Kayak tours, etc. Upstairs bedroom sleeps 6 with twin bunks/trundles. 2 downstairs BR each with queen/twin. 2 full bathrooms. Sandy beach 5 steps from lower deck.

The Wheelhouse

Keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally-located hideaway. Located across the street from Rotary beach. Friendly walking path also across the street that local neighbors daily walk to see wildlife, whales, and have an ocean escape. Two parking spots on site. Grocery store and gas station are a 2 minute drive. Bear viewing is also a 4.5 miles drive south. Downtown district is 3.5 miles north where you’ll find the famous “Creek street” and other tourist shops and seafood restaurants.

Creek Street Suites Rowan's Room

This is a 300 sq ft studio in the center of historic Creek St, in the heart of downtown. This suite is perfect for a single person or a couple. Nearly everything you'd want to see is nearby. This stylish suite has a view of the harbor and would be perfect for the guest that wants to be where it's happening. There is a shared laundry room for guests and a deck that faces the hillside. This is a non-smoking property, not suitable for children.

The Captains Quarters

The whole group will enjoy easy access to all that Ketchikan offers from this centrally located penthouse apartment. Features include a brand new remodel, a large deck, an open spacious layout, beautiful ocean views, and an ideal location in the heart of the city. Walking distance to shopping, trails, hospital, schools, ports, and recreational sites.

Overlooks Salmon Ladder~The Blueberry Cottage

Perched above Married Man's Trail , directly overlooking the Salmon Ladder waterfall. Prime viewing for eagles and salmon jumping in the stream directly below. Steps away from everything in downtown Ketchikan. Note: Your host lives upstairs, and there is a very friendly pug and also a frenchie in her unit that you might see in passing.
