A few minutes to historic downtown Jim Thorpe and the D&L trail for hiking, biking, rafting, wining, dining and more! Also 20 minutes to Blue Mountain Ski Resort. We have a designated parking lot if street parking isn’t available. Never a parking concern. Walking distance to Insurrection distillery, Bonnie & Clyde’s restaurant as well as many local shops.

This memorable place is anything but ordinary. Originally built in the 1940s as a fishing cabin, "The Lure" was completely renovated in 2021 to be your ultimate couples getaway. Do it all or do nothing at all on your private water-front deck. Relax by the fire, sit on the deck and watch the sun reflect off of the extremely quiet and serene glacial "Round Pond,” or paddle around on the house canoe. A small suite located above the town of Jim Thorpe. I am really geared towards couples looking for a weekend getaway. The space is smaller but very easily accomadates two people. A big step up from any hotel room/suite. The rental is not located in the town of Jim Thorpe. I am located about 10 minutes outside of town and about 5 minutes away from Penns Peak. The rental is connected to home but completely seperate.
