Great walks and cycle rides from the door. A car is essential. Small self-contained annexe, attached to the main house, with own entrance from side of main house. Entrance hall, one main bed-sitting room with table for eating/ working, own shower room and kitchen. Use of EV charging point by arrangement. There is no TV.

Herons is totally unique, a beautiful detached lodge situated on the banks of the River Thames. Beautiful interiors and the views are simply wonderful from sunrise to sunset. Herons is the perfect place to unwind and relax, just sit and watch the wildlife and the boats milling along the river. Nearby are the Thames Market towns of Wallingford, Henley and Abingdon and the beautiful surrounding countryside.The historic city of Oxford is only 8 miles away and Bicester Village is a 30 minute drive.

We are ideally located for discovering the many beautiful Cotswold villages as well as within easy reach of Oxford, Cheltenham and Stratford-upon-Avon. We are also close to Daylesford Farmshop and Soho Farmhouse and are surrounded by rolling countryside for lovely longs walks. There are plenty of great pubs and restaurants to visit. It is the perfect place to relax with cosy lounge, wood burning stove, bespoke kitchen & underfloor heating. Upstairs features a super-king sized bed, seating area, luxury wet-room with underfloor heating, balcony and Jacuzzi.

The Old Parlour is situated on our small working farm in the stunning Oxfordshire countryside. It is an annexe adjoining to the farmhouse. We are in a rural location, situated a mile away from the main road. This makes it the perfect spot for walkers and cyclists, however our close proximity to Bicester Village makes it perfect for shoppers too. A short walk from the heart of beautiful Stow. This place has been our home for the last 5 years. We have invested our love and care into the project of renovating the property. We thoroughly enjoyed the challenge of taking a 17th century Cotswold Stone house into the modern era, while bringing out all the features this place already possesses.
