Private Cabin, Black River Lake

Unwind at this lakefront retreat. The cabin is very private and comfortable. It is an excellent spot for swimming, boating and sunsets. There are 2 SUP's, a double kayak, a single kayak, and lifejackets. No fires or activities in the woods until Oct 15 unless the NS gov’t lifts the present restrictions! Note: The cabin is well insulated and is heated by wood stove alone. If interested in booking between Oct. and May you must be proficient using a wood stove. Please message if this is the case.

Middle Lake Retreat *with hot tub*

My cottage is very modern and unique; it sits on a private 5 acre lot surrounded by woods overlooking Middle lake with stunning sunrises. Enjoy being engulfed by nature with the comfort of everyday amenities including a hot tub and even an arcade with over 800 retro games! The dock and canoe at the lake are available for use during the summer months but will be removed in October until spring. Ski Martock/Ontree, Bent Ridge Winery are within a 10min drive from Chalet Hamlet.

Take a break and unwind at this peaceful oasis. Or take a relaxing walk on the trail to Little River Falls located directly across the road. There many beautiful local wineries to choose from. Locations in Gaspereau, Wolfville, Grand Pre and Port Williams. And so many amazing restaurants and cafes along the way to popular scenic views. Such as Wolfville’s waterfront view of the Dykes, the Look Off a view o valley and Grand Pre’s historic park. Just to name a few.

Take a short walk down to the Bay, relax on one of many benches while watching some of the highest tides in the world come in or out. Soak in the relaxing tub, or in the Summer, Fall and Spring enjoy the outside shower. On a cold winters day enjoy the warm heat from the wood stove. Great area for hiking, touring and side by siding or just a very peaceful and romantic atmosphere.
