Welcome to our cosy glamorous bell tent set in a truly magical location where the woods meet the reeds. Enjoy the wonderful combination of riverside wilderness, farm animals and comfortable outdoors accommodation which is only ten minutes walk to Woodbridge with all the buzz of a lively Suffolk market town. THE BRICKMAKER'S RETREAT- Large & Cosy Safari Tent

Our large safari tent is more like a lodge as it has a raised wooden floor, large windows and a woodburning stove inside. The retreat is close to 3 beaches and walking distance from Holkham Hall. It is on a Wild Campsite so you'll get close to nature and experience a forgotten Norfolk Brickyard. You’ll love the seclusion, the peace and quiet and the rest of the campsite. The Brickmaker's Retreat is a beautiful place for couples, small families with 2 kids or great for a group of 4 friends.

Boats and paddle board available for hire. FISHING IS NOT INCLUDED- this is an extra £10 per person per day. NO INFANTS.

There is a wood burning stove for cosy nights in, and all the kit you need to prepare a meal for two. There is also a fire-pit for tranquil evenings, flame-gazing, and barbecuing.

We have three safari tents, each individually designed inside with simple but sumptuous style, sleeping up to 6 people max comfortably in 3 separate bedroom areas.

A summer pop-up, our luxury bell tent with king-size bed and log burning stove has its own private bathroom (hot shower/flushing loo) and outdoor kitchen hidden in towering bamboo. Pick plums from the orchard, toast marshmallows under the stars, or set off on an adventure across the fields at this idyllic Constable Country retreat.
