The village is conveniently located for the M5, with J14 approx. 10 mins by car, and the A38 a similar distance. Easy access to local market towns of Thornbury and Wotton-under-Edge, as well as to Bristol and Bath. The barn is next door to our home but entirely self-contained and private with parking for two cars.

It is situated in the middle of a small village which is 10 mins from J14 of the M5, 15 mins from J18 of M4, half an hour from Bath, Bristol and Cirencester and approximately 40 mins from Cheltenham and the Forest of Dean. Hillesley is a quiet village with a wonderful pub. It is situated on the Cotswold Way and ideally placed for a walking holiday.

The beautifully restored barn, sleeps 2 guests in a comfortable double bed on a mezzanine floor, with shower room and open plan living-dining- kitchen area. A small outside patio, with ample parking for vehicles. Perfectly situated to explore the cotswold way, with a cafe, pub and post office shop all within 5 minutes walk.

Cosy and quiet cottage nestled in the Cotswolds

The Grade II Listed cottage is 300-350 years old with bags of character and authentic charm. It is very comfortable in the snug with its own wood burner and other original features. Go to sleep hearing the owls and wake up to the birds singing. Make breakfast and drink a cup of tea in the garden. There are beautiful walks right on the doorstep including a lake very close by. We quite often see deer from our house.
