Spillway Cabin’s (Brand new!) West Cabin

The Spillway Cabins are new construction with new everything! Our little slice of heaven is yours to explore and enjoy. Each cabin(west and east) have 2 br/2bth, hot tub, gas grill, Starlink internet, large flatscreen TV’s, fully stocked kitchen, and fire pits! From the south side of the cabins you will find a pathway that will take you through our 7 acres of woods and down to a lakeside pergola that has comfortable outdoor furniture, a bar, and view of our beloved Centralia Lake and spillway.

Welcome to The Shoe Inn! You'll be at the center of town within walking distance to all the places you need to be: banquet halls, five bars, restaurants, Wessel's grocery store, ice cream shop, church, hardware store, and community parks. Smart lock, contactless entry is available for a convenient & safe stay. Enjoy the full size washer & dryer (no detergent provided) , fireplace, kitchenette (no stove), free parking, Samsung 50" smart TV w/ 100's of cable channels, Alexa device, & free WiFi

Turtle Cove

Located on beautiful Lake Centralia, Turtle Cove offers a relaxing lakefront experience, perfect for a couple's getaway or hosting families. If you need a quiet stay nestled in nature or fun on the water, you can’t go wrong with Turtle Cove! *Over 2 guests, we require an additional $12/person per night. **Dogs -flat $50 fee. We kindly ask for pets to stay off furniture / beds & dispose of dog waste from yard. Failure to do so will result in additional cleaning fee. ***No parties allowed.

Shagbark Landing

Forget your worries in this spacious and serene space. Drive down the lane to a secluded 3 bedroom home newly furnished. Enjoy yourself in an open concept floor plan where there is lots of room to spread out. Spend your evenings in the living room or the family room that has a fireplace. From the family room you can step out on a deck and enjoy the view of the pond. We are located 8.5 miles from Vandalia where there are historical landmarks, great restaurants, and quaint shops.

Need a break? Some time to relax and breathe? Come get away from it all at this TINY HOME in the woods. Roast s'mores around the fire pit, go kayaking on nearby Carlyle Lake, stargaze on the porch swing with a cozy blanket...or just cuddle up and binge watch your favorite shows in front of the fireplace. Fully updated with everything you need: full size washer/dryer, stocked kitchen, smart TVs, wifi, outdoor grill, 2 RV hookups, space to park a boat - conveniently right off of I-70!

Waterfront Cabin•Boat Dock, Fireplace&Beach Access

The cabin sits in the trees along beautiful Lake Sara. The cabin offers a quiet place to relax and unwind. You can bring your kayaks, paddle boards or trailer your family boat along for some fun tubing and skiing on the lake. The dock allows for the boat to be left in the water till the end of your stay. The Marina, Pinky’s (waterfront restaurant), Rusty Reel (bar below Pinky’s ), Cardinal Golf Course, Lake Sara Campground and Lake Sara Beach are all a short walk from the cabin!

Modern Loft in Historic Downtown

Lincoln’s Loft is close to everything making it easy to plan your visit to downtown Vandalia. This loft offers a bedroom, full kitchen and bath, dining room, living room with a pull out sofa, and large smart TV. This loft also offers beautiful views of the oldest State Capitol in IL and is within walking distance to many restaurants, bars, and local shops. It is located on the 3rd level and will require you to climb 2 flight of stairs. For events please contact the host!

Welcome to Deer Creek Cabin on Lake Centralia. Relax with the whole family at this peaceful private retreat. A large deck surrounds the pool for all your family fun. Fishing and kayaking are just steps away. Enjoy your morning coffee in the screened-in porch overlooking a quiet cove of the beautiful lake. It is common to see deer, geese, ducks, turtles, and blue heron. As night falls, cozy up around the fire pit to make more family memories.

Hideaway Cove

Escape to Hideaway Cove, a serene cottage nestled in a tranquil cove on Centralia Lake. Perfect for solo retreats, romantic getaways, or family vacations. Wake up to a mesmerizing lake view from the covered porch. Enjoy nature's beauty and let go of your worries. Fishing, kayaking, and hammock relaxation await outdoor enthusiasts. Pets are welcome ($50 pet fee applies), so explore together and make unforgettable memories.

Bev's Country Cottage

A small quiet cottage off the beaten path, located only minutes from Newton Lake Fish and Wildlife Area. This is a great place for hunters, fishermen or just someone that wants to get away from the city. It has exactly what you need to enjoy a long weekend full of the great outdoors. As hosts we want our guest to enjoy their stay so we are available to help with anything.

The 8th Hole

Enjoy a quiet country setting stay, on the edge of town. Only 2 miles from interstate 70. This is an upstairs luxury apartment with steep stairs to the entrance. It can accomodate up to 4 people comfortably. Vandalia has lots to offer. The historic Old State Capitol where Abraham Lincoln once visited , a walking trail in Rogier Park and beautiful Vandalia Lake.

Country Farmette

A quiet country setting, dark enough to see the stars, but not far from town with everything you need! Come make yourself at home! Need a flexible check in or check out time, ask…we’ll accommodate that if it fits the calendar! We offer late checkout of 6PM on Sundays for an additional $40 if you make arrangements with us to do so.
