Private Japanese House near Horyu-ji, Nara

This is a private whole-house rental in a quiet residential area near Horyu-ji, a World Heritage site in Nara. The tatami bedroom has two beds, with extra futons available (up to 3 guests). A spacious living room and kitchen are suitable for longer stays. Private bathroom and toilet, Wi-Fi, air conditioning, washing machine, and free parking are included. A large private garden is available for relaxing time. Perfect for guests who value privacy and a calm local atmosphere.

Enjoy local japanese experience by staying in a neighbourhood in Nara's countryside, sharing the house with a retired carpenter! You can make a reservation up to three people! The rooms are on the second floor, while the host sleeps downstairs. Feel free to join the host for a drink in the evening during dinner time. JR train station is only 15min by car or 20min by bus. From there you can easily access Osaka (18min), Nara city (15min) and Kyoto (1 hour) for a day trip!

The nearest station is Oji Station on the JR Line (18 minutes from Osaka Tennoji Station). It is about a 20-minute bus ride from Oji Station. If you are coming by train, we will pick you up at the nearest station. The last pick-up time is 7:00 PM. After that, please use the bus. There is a lovely hot spring nearby, or you can walk there. There is a barbecue facility in the garden. Convenient access to Kyoto, Osaka, Nara, Koyasan, and Yoshino.

It's a very quiet place and you can wake up in the morning to the chirping of birds. You can bird watch from your room window. Anyone can play the piano, but I tuned it myself so it's suitable for beginners. If you wish, you can experience tuning.
