Contours of the mountains, the edges of the paddy fields; our cottage overlooks the most picturesque site in Kohima. We are situated at the highest point of Kigwema; right above Kisama Heritage Village. The first ray of the sun hits our cottage and reflects on the paddy fields. Our cottage is an immersive deep-forest getaway for urban travellers. Surrounded by 10 wooded acres, you'll find yourself sharing the sunset view with birds in the tree tops, gazing at the starlit skies.

Nuhamdi homestay is located at upper Agri colony, Kohima. It is located just 3 mins drive away from Kisama Hornbill Heritage Village and 9 kms away from Kohima Town. We hope to provide a warm & memorable experience for you. Greenhouse (full floor)

We have two adjoining rooms with an attached dining area and a nice big terrace. You'll get a gorgeous view of the Dzouku valley and Japfü peak, Nagaland's second highest peak. On Sundays the hills come alive with music from churches across Kohima. It's a real treat for tourists. (so they tell me) it's a short steep downhill walk to my place but it's totally worth it! if you have trouble walking please let us know and we'll arrange a car.

Hillfoot Homestay

Hillfoot Homestay is located in Jakhama Village, the southern part of the Angami tribe. It is 15km away from Kohima which is a 30mins drive. *The Homestay is one of the nearest Homestay to Dzukuo Valley trekking point. *10mins drive from Hornbill Festival (Heritage Village). *Pickup and dropping is available. *Guides and potters are available for trekking. I also live in the house same house so I will be available 24/7.
