We offer a place like no other. The Mamaku Roost is a large, unique, private & peaceful oasis with easy access/parking in a semi rural setting (but super handy location) 5 minute drive to town, train & beach. Art, antiques, original wooden floors, log burner, double glazing/curtains, modern hot shower, heated blankets, kitchenette, fast wifi, black out curtains. Outside has a covered patio, outdoor fire/furniture, fountain, native bush, farm, garden, beehives, friendly animals. Guests say WOW.

Bedford Hideaway - includes Breakfast & free Wi-Fi

Bedford Hideaway is a unique 1963 SB3 Bedford Bus which has been transformed into a perfect getaway with all the amenities you would expect in a home. Located in a private rural bush setting only 5 minute drive from Greymouth CBD It includes kitchenette, tea & coffee facilities, microwave and a continental breakfast. Full sized shower and flushing toilet along with a queen sized bed, an electric blanket and plenty of extra bedding. Close to all your needs but still private & peaceful to relax!

Castle Hill Studio

Castle Hill Studio has everything you need after a day exploring the nearby Ski fields, Craigieburn trails, Cave Stream, and Kura Tawhiti Rocks from your doorstep. Spacious, with a full kitchen and laundry, the ground floor Studio has its own private entry. Secure bike or ski storage are availible by arrangement. New Black Diamond Mondo bouldering mats are available for our Bouldering guests to hire. While the studio is spacious, it is best suited to 2 singles or 1 couple with young children.

Hokitika Haven

Relax in our 1 bedroom apartment with large open plan kitchen, dining & living area. Bedroom has a queen bed & also a single bed. Heat pump, gas powered hot water along with Sky TV, Sky Sports, Sky Movies and Wifi. Smart TV gives you access to online content as well as Netflix plus more. 50 inch Smart TV's in both the lounge and bedroom. 2 minute stroll to the Glowworm dell in one direction and the beach in the other direction. Easy, flat walk to town approx. 1.5km away. Private parking.

The Nest at Hurunui Jacks (outdoor bath & firepit)

So much more than a place to sleep - toast marshmallows around a private fire, take a bike on the West Coast Wilderness trail, kayak on our little lake! The Nest is a stand alone self contained unit with outdoor bath/shower, close to but separate from the main house. Set on 15 acres of private land, Hurunui Jacks has the Nest and a glamping tent nestled in beautiful West Coast native bush. A small private lake, historic water race & the Kaniere River are on your doorstep.

River & Trail Camping Pod

Secluded & cosy ‘off-grid’ Eco camping pod overlooking the Hokitika River, right next to the West Coast Wilderness cycling trail. Located in a private setting you have the space to yourselves. Equipped with an outdoor hot shower, camp style kitchen with running water. There is no power or wifi so you can enjoy the natural surroundings. So sit back and enjoy the glorious West Coast sunsets. Located only 3km from Hokitika town and beach and 3km from the airport.

Teapot Cottage - a step back in time

STEP INTO THE PAST in our authentic and charming 1950's "LIVING MUSEUM". NO WiFi or tv, so ENJOY the vintage record player, books, board games and dress-ups. EXPLORE local free natural HOT-SPRINGS or SOAK in the garden FIRE-BATH - stunning farm/bush/mountain/starlight views. WANDER beautiful bush walks, beaches, lakes and river-beds. Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space. Local café and pub 5 mins walk. 20km drive away from one of the Top 5 Coastal Walks in NZ. 45 min drive from Franz Josef Glacier. Local walks including Hot Pools and 2 of NZs oldest Rimu trees. The local café closes around 3pm so if you are passing through Hokitika or Franz Josef you may want to get food from the supermarket. We are unable to offer early check-ins or late check-outs
