An idyllic countryside retreat in an old Montenegro peasant stone house, facing a vineyard, surrounded by pomegranates and fig trees, and with a great view on the mountains. This is a perfect hideaway from city hustle and traffic noise. As a mountaineering guide and former diplomat, I will be happy to welcome visitors from all corners of our world, share memories of my old family house and history of Montenegro, assist them in planning and organizing their tours in our beautiful country.

Mountain Cabins Gornja Brezna

The cabin is located in beautiful nature, near the birch forest, below the mountain peak Štuoc, overlooking the mountains. The cabin is made entirely from the wood. We are the perfect starting point for all your adventures if you are planning an active vacation because with us you can hire a guide for hiking tours, sightseeing and visiting places hidden in the heart of our village, as well as book rafting or canyoning in season. We also offer an outdoor sauna for additional fee. Welcome!

All of that is located in white stone hause full of traditions which is still alive since 1893 years. You just need a close your eyes and imagine youself on place full of greenery, flowers..and where you listen only swarm of bees and chirping of birds. Welcome to the scenic middle of nowhere. Here, cows ignore fences, cats run the local mafia and poop is less of an accident, more of a feature. The neighbour’s dogs might pop by to judge your snack choices. Birds will wake you up, the views will calm you down. You might get recruited to herd livestock in your pyjamas or find a sheep judging you parking. The air smells like freedom and your shoes will never be the same.
