The Rusty Bear is our awesome home in Procter Point. Our rock beach on Kootenay Lake gives way to a world of watersports possibilities including kayaking, SUP and world-class fishing. The small community of Procter offers a General Store (complete with fuel and liquor) as well as the Village Bakery (with their famous cinnamon buns). Hiking and biking the Proctologist trails are just out the front door. Golfing is around the corner. Dining, if not on our amazing deck, is a short drive.

Keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally located house in downtown Kaslo. Located across the street from the Moyie Sternwheeler National Historic Site and the Kaslo Visitor Center, there is a great public beach perfect for swimming and paddle boarding. The house is located a couple blocks from the Angry Hen Brewery and all the other great shops and restaurants in town. Good parking in back with room for a camper if needed. Come relax and recreate in the beautiful town of Kaslo!

Three minutes from Kokanee Provincial Park and 10 minutes from the Balfour Ferry. Nelson is a twenty minute scenic drive along the West Arm of Kootenay Lake. Kokanee Zipline is a short 5 minute drive and we are on the doorstep of many famous mountain bike trails in Kokanee Glacier Park.

Situated on Kootenay lake, our suites provide travelers with a choice between two unique and beautiful accommodations. Longbeach suites, located on the west arm of Kootenay Lake 21 kms north of Nelson BC providing 171 ft. of beach front. We have two separate suites available on the upper level of our home overlooking the beach.
