Take the opportunity to sit on the pier at night and enjoy the breeze blowing across the lake. Bring the kids and fish from the pier, swim, and then take a spin in the paddle boat. The slow sloping, smooth sandy bottom, is ideal for kids who love the water. Pull your boat up to the pier and enjoy the entire lake.

Come stay in the peaceful quiet of the country. You're welcome to fish, hike, visit with the animals or just relax. You can sit out in a rocker with your cup of coffee and watch the deer walk by while the sunrises. Enjoy sunsets while the fish jump in the pond. There's a hammock to relax in on the porch or just enjoy rocking and watching the wildlife. Come play with our alpacas and enjoy the country life! We also have a washer and dryer on site off the screened in back porch to use at your convenience.

Dan’s Place - 14 miles to Baylor & Magnolia

3 bedroom 2 bath, 1500 sq foot cottage close to Tradinghouse Lake. The cottage was built in the late 1940's and was totally renovated in 2017. It is isolated with only one neighbor across the street and is very peaceful. It has a small pond that has a fountain, and is stocked with Bass, Crappie, Bluegill and catfish. Fishing poles and baits are provided. Small gatherings/parties are permitted. I have had several small weddings in the past.

Kick back and relax in this peaceful cabin situated outside the city of Waco in the countryside. Sit on the porch and sip coffee while listening to birds chirp and sing. Watch the cows from your deck while you grill. This cabin comfortably sleeps four guests and is equipped with a king size bed, a loft with two twin beds and a bathroom with a walk-in shower. There is not an oven. There is a gas grill which is shared with another cabin.
