This traditional wooden house in a semi-modern setting offers a beautiful panorama view over rice fields. Located at the edge of a suburban village it is the perfect spot to relax in tropical nature and to explore the village life. We are a German-Indonesian family that has been in love with the area around this place for years. All day long there blows a soft, chill wind - in Javanese "Silir" - through the rice fields and invites people to relax and let go from their hectic everyday life.

It takes only 7 minutes by car to go to tourist destinations such as Malioboro and Keraton (royal palace) and only 5 minutes by car to a lot of famous traditional restaurants in Yogakarta. You would love my place because the neighbourhood is very safe and calm.
