The ReImaginator is called after a machine in my first children's book that restored stolen imaginations because building this space was the first step Robbie and I took in following our own dreams - we hope it inspires you to do the same. The treehouse is at the bottom of a forest like garden right in the heart of Kilkenny, just 10 minutes walk from the town centre. A true rural retreat in an urban setting. This warm & cosy space is surrounded by bird song - a perfect place to get inspired.

Welcome to An Sibin! This converted cottage is completely renovated and decorated by a master woodworker. Perfect for a solo trip to relax or a romantic weekend! Contains a cute fireplace, double sofa bed, small kitchen and fully equipped bathroom with a shower. Quiet and cosy the garden is an ideal place to see the stars at night. All fuel included in the price* 20mins drive from Kilkenny and Clonmel. 30 minutes from the rock of Cashel. *no public transport, limited taxis.

Cosy Loft in the Trees

This gorgeous little hut is tucked into the upper corner of a hay barn and has the cosy feel of a treehouse. Set in a peaceful rural spot overlooking open fields, it offers a real sense of escape. Although close to other buildings where we live, it is completely private. Access is via two short flights of sturdy steps leading to a balcony. Kilkenny city is a 20-minute drive away, but a car is essential as there is no public transport. An ideal place to retreat and unwind.

Hawes Barn - 200 Year Old Cottage

Set within the Croc An Oir Estate (translated as Crock of Gold) and tucked away down a leafy boreen, this beautifully restored, converted stone barn offers a truly relaxing holiday where hospitality and a traditional Irish experience is offered in abundance. Croc an Oir is a romantic retreat for a couple, and traditional features include a cosy woodburner, a half door, arched windows and a delightful loft style bedroom. There is also a private courtyard and garden.

Located halfway between Portlaoise and Kilkenny, this is the ideal spot to stop and relax in the scenic countryside while touring the many local attractions. The fact that we are in The Midlands, makes it's the perfect location to visit other counties from, as everywhere is within only a few hours drive. It is the ideal place to relax with a book and enjoy the many small birds and wild plants that share the space. It is a great base for walkers and cyclists to explore the surrounding pretty villages and beyond. What better way to spend an evening than to cook in the out door kitchen and dine under the stars.
