Nestled in the shade of the Lake Almanor Pines neighborhood, our rustic cedar cabin boasts the comforts of a secluded getaway with the convenience to many nearby attractions including Mt Lassen National Park. Launch your boat at the Marina ($40+/-) or Canyon Dam (Free) to have a fun-filled day of water sports or fishing. Visit Bailey Creek Golf Course, golf or play Pickleball at Lake Almanor County Club, visit local restaurants, coffee shop, grocery store, microbrewery, and gas station nearby.

Hiker's Retreat Cabin

Cute cabin for two! Set in the midst of Plumas National Forest, Paxton is very secluded. Walking distance to the beautiful Feather River and our own private sand beach. Hiking, swimming and tubing. Close to Lake Almanor, Bucks Lake, the quaint towns of Quincy and Belden, snowshoeing, fishing and many other outdoor activities. We also have a Little Tree Library with books for all ages, or little games to play. Plus, we include many lawn games right here on the historic Paxton Lodge property.

Welcome to the creekside paradise where year-round Bailey Creek flows through the property! Enjoy 3 levels of decking from living room to creek, plus creekside fire pit with s’mores under starry skies. Sleeps 8 with colorful themed rooms, skylight bunk beds, and king loft suite. Fully stocked kitchen, Sonos speakers, and barista coffee setup. Just 9 miles to Lassen and the popular Manzanita Lake! Hat Creek and Burney Falls are close by as well. We have snowshoes for your winter adventures!

Only 3hrs from San Francisco, 2hrs from Sacramento, and 20min from Chico, come unplug in this newly remodeled space and enjoy a slice of authentic rural living. Recharge in solitude or get out-and-about to enjoy the countryside. There is nearby hiking, mountain biking, disc golf, & swimming. Also only about an hour drive to beautiful Lake Almanor and the amazing gem of Lassen National Park.

Welcome to our peaceful lakefront hideaway with stunning views of Mt Lassen over the water! Enjoy your own private dock with kayaks & stand-up paddle boards in the summer, or relax by the log-burning fireplace in the winter. Take in the views from the expansive deck with it's BBQ, and gas firepit. As part of the Lake Almanor Country Club, you'll have access to the community summer concerts, sandy beaches, tennis/pickleball/basketball/bocce courts, boat launches, and golf course.

Upgraded cozy Lake Cabin, with full amenities. 3 bed, 2bath huge deck for BBQ's and on the Lake. This is your perfect get-away to be able to relax and enjoy nature. Great fishing off our backyard, lake and on creeks. All one story plenty of parking! Ping Pong table, board games and movies. Bring the water toys. This is the place where kids forget about their IPADS and phones. Boat Dock is removed from Nov 1st to April 1st do to winter/snow conditions. Sorry for the inconvenience

The cabin is ideal for a couple, small family, best friends, or an individual looking for a personal retreat in the forest. Dogs are welcome!

Cozy cabin near some of California's most pristine pine forest, waterholes and fishing, and only 9 miles from the Lassen National Park's Southwest Visitor Center. The town of Mineral is a small island of private cabins surrounded by a sea of National Forest and National Park lands. An adventurer's dream. You could walk out the backdoor of the cabin, into the forest, and arrive at the Lassen Visitor Center without crossing a single paved road, or seeing another human. Just bears.

Here- you'll be a 5 minute drive to easy lake/dock and beach access and all the amenities the Country Club offers, golf, pickleball, tennis courts, restaurants & more! The adorable town of Chester is a 15 minute drive where you'll find shops, thrifting, cafes, restaurants and Timber House Brewery.

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place & enjoy the cascading sound of the year round Hamilton Branch that feeds Lake Almanor & the faint sound of the occasional train in the background. Go fishing off the back deck & enjoy hours of pleasure on Lake Almanor with its 52 miles of shoreline. Lassen National Park is about 30 mins. away & it's rich in hydrothermal sites .Go biking, hiking, etc. in this year round place.
