It is located on top of the mountain with spectacular views of the Gulf of Nicoya and the best place to watch sunsets when the weather allows. It is a one bedroom non luxury house that was built by one of the first Quaker settlers in the Monteverde area. It is fully equipped with a kitchen, washing machine and dryer for the best comfort. We are in the cloud forest, be ready for weather changes and bugs.

Nice house with incredible views, not only to the Arenal Volcano, but also to the Tenorio and Miravalles Volcanoes and the town of La Fortuna. The design of this house is inspired on the Oxcart which were very important for the economy of the country on the 1900's. You will also find our grandpa's Oxcart next to the house, and it is very photogenic, so feel free to take a nice picture of it, with the Volcano at the back!

Our house is very close to main hot springs! We are just 15 minutes from La fortuna Town! We are also very close to the hanging bridges, the national park and arenal lake! We work hard to make our guests very happy and confortable! We have a trail that you can explore by yourself and see our famous friends “the red frogs” and of course admire Little bit about the rain forest in our place!

In your cabin you will find a comfortable queen-size bed, and in the second bedroom you have two single beds (extra large 2,10m / 7 feet long ), as well as a private bathroom and kitchen with a refrigerator. Next to the kitchen you'll find a small dining area with garden view. Outside you'll have a nice terrace with chairs and a table. Wifi is at the cabins free of charge.
