You'll be treated to a delightful array of bird songs, and with a bit of luck you might even see a bald eagle. Take in the beautiful sunsets and unwind in this peaceful lakeside haven!

Clay Woodland is a bed & breakfast in Manistee National Forest in the village of Baldwin, Mi. It has a secluded woodland cottage on the property. A light continental breakfast is provided the first two days of stay. The area is known for its specialty fishing, and it is also one of Michigan’s top water recreation areas with over 100 lakes in the county. The city sits on the Baldwin River only a few miles north of the historic Pere Marquette River. The cottage is nestled near lakes & rivers.

If winter activities are not your thing and relaxing in a warm cozy cottage is we have you covered. We are looking foward to your stay.

Newly constructed, delightful cottage on an all sports lake! Nestled on this sandy lakefront, of Loon Lake, is this family friendly retreat. Rest and relax in your home while swimming, kayaking, and fishing. Close to the Manistee National Forest, there are many other activities to enjoy, including the North country trail. Within walking distance to two restaurants and a convenience store. Also if wanting to venture out, Manistee and Ludington are 32 miles away, Traverse city 60 miles.

Newly remodeled 3 bedroom 2 bath cottage on private Government Lake. Includes kayaks, paddle boat, private dock, and 6-person hot tub! Enjoy the quiet no wake, private Government Lake. Soak in the 6-person hot tub after a day of activities. Close to Baldwin and the Pere Marquette River or do a day trip to Ludington, Silver Lake or Pentwater. Our personal 1940’s Cottage, direct private lake frontage on all sports Big Star Lake! 2 bedrooms on the main floor. Lower level has two twin beds. Large yard. Fire pit area complete with an endless amount of firewood on site for you to use. Kitchen is new and very well equipped. Linens and towels provided. Perched higher up, awesome panoramic view of the lake. Morning sun. Multi level decks and lots of steps and deck levels to beach. NO parties allowed.
