For fun in the snow with your sled or toboggan try the hills and dunes in Ludington State Park. Big M cross country ski trails offers a 37 mile loop trail system located in the Manistee forest. If winter activities are not your thing and relaxing in a warm cozy cottage is we have you covered. We are looking foward to your stay.

With a wide open view over the lake and an open floor plan this cottage will not disappoint. Winsome Cottage is in the heart of Baldwin, home to the Pere Marquette and Baldwin River and is situated on Whalen Lake. Stay and cast a line from the row boat, or enjoy a short commute to any local lake or stream of your choosing. Centrally located for trail riding, or hiking, this place is a great location and newly remodeled with a driveway designed for 2 cars and a trailer.

Snowmobilers Paradise!!! Right from your door pick up groomed trails. Go explore the casino (30 min) or Caberfae and Crystal Mountain- skiing (30 min). Bring your off road vehicles, and have some great adventures. Have dinner at Nahtahka Bar & Grill a block away. When the lake is frozen enjoy ice fishing at its finest- pike, walleye, blue gill, crappie, perch. Come be my guest; relax, adventure and make wonderful memories in the cozy loft. If your adventurous, enjoy access to off road trails right out your front door There’s is plenty of state land if hunting is your thing. There are multiple lakes for fishing, boating or swimming. There are a couple kayaks and a paddle boat on site for your use as well. There is one full bed and one full size pull out couch.
