The Comfy Cowboy House

Bring your family! This unique place has a style all its own. We’ve combined rustic wood with new comfortable furnishings for a space that everyone loves! In the remo kitchen you’ll find everything you need for cooking and heating your favorite meals. The bedrooms and bathrooms are also fully stocked. We carefully chose this house and neighborhood for a safe place to stay when visiting our family in Lakeview. Sharing it with guests just makes it more fun! Kick off your boots and enjoy your stay!

Christmas Valley High Desert Base Camp

Nestled in high desert sage, our 700 sq ft stick built, well insulated cabin is 3 miles from the farming community of Christmas Valley. 2 bedrooms, 1 bath, living room, kitchen and dining room with a view to the south of the Black Hills and what we refer to as Cowboy and Indian ridge. The dirt street is quiet and the home is equipped with common amenities. The property is fenced on 3 sids. It's private and has served as a perfect base camp for folks just wanting to experience the high desert.

Relax In The Oregon Outback - Sauna and Hot Tub

Picturesque Summer Lake. Stay on 8 acres in a charming 3-bedroom cottage. Enjoy serene views of winter rim and stargaze in the area recently recognized as an International Dark Sky Sanctuary. A full kitchen with ALL amenities for cooking and baking. Activities include; Eat at the Cowboy Dinner Tree, paddle boarding at Ana Reservoir, Kayak the Ana River, drive or walk the Summer Lake Wildlife Area and spot over 200 species of birds. Hiking, UTV riding, fishing, hunting are all within minutes.

Off Grid- Cabin in the pines with sauna

Off- grid rustic cabin with two stories, loft bedroom. Mountain pine setting, birding hotspot, views of nearby mountains. Near Gearhart Wilderness, Sycan Marsh and 90 minutes to Crater Lake National Park. Elevation is 4500 feet, no light pollution, making for amazing stargazing. Cabin is off grid. A partial outdoor kitchen with a table and bbq, and outdoor sauna and porta potti are in use. Limited power sources (solar) available to charge phones and to use lights at night. Snowy winters!

The Homestead House

Welcome to The Homestead House, a charming 1923 retreat nestled in the heart of the Dark Sky Sanctuary. Winter Rim View Cabin

A cozy and private home, with a large, fenced backyard, and trees to provide shade during those warm summer days. The home is situated about 3/4 of a mile from the popular Ana Reservoir which boasts fantastic hybrid bass and trout fishing opportunities as well as swimming. Ana River is just a few steps further if you are a kayaker and would like a leisurely float. The home has a large front and back deck, with a portion of the back deck being covered.

Summer Lake Cabin with a View

This place is an amazing two story log cabin in rural outback Oregon... wildlife refuge, pictographs, hot spring, Fremont wilderness area, wild life, cowboys, hunting, fishing, boating, swimming ...etc. are within 30 minutes. It is in dark sky country, you can see the Milky Way with your naked eyes from the back porch. I find peace and beauty in the surrounding landscape. The house is beautiful and comfortable inside out, fully equipped on 1800 SF.

Squirrelville

Squirrelville is furnished, built in the early 1920s and is almost 100 years old! It has one bedroom, open plan living and kitchen area, and 110 V power. Sleeps 2 adults + one child. Bedroom: Queen size bed/dresser. Free standing closet. Woodstove in living room and electric/oil heater. Kitchen area, sink, appliances, dishes, pans, silverware, water. There is a carpeted outhouse, and an outdoor shower (availability contingent on outdoor temps).!

Summer Lake Lookout

Rustic secluded remote rural cabin on 13 private acres located in the newly designated world’s largest International Dark Sky Sanctuary 🔭 Mostly off grid in nature on a seasonal lake with Playa access. Vast viewing area. Incredible birding with over 200 different bird species! Wildlife abundance! Immersion in a real natural setting, escape from city life.
