The house was built in 1691 and what is now Townfoot Byre would have originally housed animals. All guests have unlimited free access to the owner's Health Club and spa located close by in Toutbeck Bridge, just a 5 minute drive or 25 minute walk away.

Dorothy’s place is part of an 18th Century Villa. Adults only no children allowed. Everything you need for that perfect romantic break. Guests get full use of the large garden and woodland to take in the stunning view. If travelling by train our advice would be get a taxi from the station as can be difficult to find on foot . Guests are welcome to park up as early as you want before check in or drop luggage off in a safe place,but please let us know in advance.
