Welcome to Moose Mansion, our peaceful A-Frame escape sitting just off the North Fork of the Colorado River. We're just minutes from the historic downtown Grand Lake, the East entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park, hunting, fishing, world-class snowmobiling, sailing, SO MANY MOOSE, and much more. Entire brand new, modern & bright cabin. We lost the cabin in 2020 in one of the largest wildfires in Colorado history, and just finished rebuilding. What we lost from the seclusion of trees, we gained in 360 degree views of Kawuneeche Valley & Rocky Mountain National Park. Nature has rebounded quickly & you will see abundant wildlife grazing the meadow, with moose and elk visiting daily. Log home on Shadow Mountain Lake (no pets)

The house is a custom built log house located right on the shore of Shadow Mountain Lake looking at the lake and the mountains with 76' of shore. It sleeps up to 9 people in 4 bedrooms. There is only parking for 4 vehicles in the summer and 2-3 in the winter. No RV's or campers ever and No trailers in winter. There is cable TV and wireless Internet. The all season porch has 360 views of the lake. No pets on the property at all, my wife is allergic.
