Hawea Country Hut - mountain views & stars galore

Take it easy at this unique country cabin. Breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and farmland. Soak in the outside bath. Close to Lake Hāwea hiking and biking trails. Boating and Cardrona and treble cone ski fields. The township of Wanaka with its many award winning restaurants and cafes is only 20km away. The cabin is warm and cozy, sunny, wood burner & heat pump. location is nestled between Grandview and Lake Hāwea station. We have no light pollution making for incredible stargazing.

Kuana-Cottage

Our fully renovated house is in a great location. A short walk to the town centre and the popular Arrow River. The location and position also attracts the sun all year round. There is excellent indoor/outdoor living and is well equipped for your stay. There is also a BBQ with comfortable outdoor furniture for relaxing. It is very handy to the 4 Square Shop and at the end of the street there is a playground. For those wanting to exercise there are a number of walking and biking tracks close by.

Only five minutes drive from central Wanaka, Mount Gold Chalet is a bespoke private and cosy retreat. The exquisite wooden open plan studio chalet nestles in native forest high above Lake Wanaka. Views of the lake and surrounding mountains are breathtaking. The perfect place to rest and relax amidst 1.8 hectares of native forest and gardens. We had some issues with Vodafone broadband where guests didn’t have a strong signal sometimes, so we have upgraded to fast Starlink wifi 😄

The Pinot Shed Apartment

We are a couple living on a one acre vineyard very close to the Wanaka Township - a 5 minute drive away. We grow pinot noir grapes and make our own wine. We have a self-contained 2 bedroom/2 en-suite apartment with a separate lounge, dining and kitchenette which opens on to your own private patio with a lovely outdoor couch setting, where you can enjoy a home cooked meal on the bbq while overlooking The Pinot Shed Vineyard. Surrounded by mountain views and plenty of parking.

Make use of the modern hot tub and soak in the snow capped views. 4 bed (all doubles, 1 room is a garage conversion) 2 bath. Sleeps 8, however best suited to 6 people. 3min bike to Sticky Forest, lake swimming and only 40 mins to Cardrona/Treble Cone make this home an adventure seekers paradise. Northlake tennis courts, pump track and cafes are an easy 2 min walk.
