The Walnut Tree B & B is located in Zana, a hamlet in the upper part of Abbadia Lariana on the eastern shore of Lake Como. We are one hour away from Milan, 2 and a half km away from Mandello del Lago and 3 km away from Abbadia Lariana. If you arrive by train, we can pick you up by car from the train station of Mandello or Abbadia Lariana. The part of the house given over to the B&B has been sensitively restored and has the character of an old country house, complete with a balcony with views over the lake. The two rooms have private bathrooms. In summer you can have your breakfast served on the terrace in the garden. A few kilometers away is the town of Varenna, where boats depart for the lake. The whole area is known for the famous mountain "Grigna", a wonderful place for walking and climbing. If you enjoy motorcycles, be sure to visit the museum of Guzzi motorcycle. Abbadia is the perfect place to swim: there are no private homes that overlook the beautiful beach. A simple comfortable and bright house, with a large living room, furnished with charming pieces. Each room leeds to a balcony ending in a rounded terrace built on a huge erratic rock which gives the name to the B&B. From there you can enjoy a beautiful sight of lake Como, its beautiful mountains, the ruins of an ancient castle and its village. At any time you can sip a drink in the terrace listening to the sweet sound of the stream flowing a few metres aside. In the evening the fresh breeze coming down from the valley makes your relaxing moments fantastic, after your baths in the lake, your trekking, your boat trips in the wonderful sites all around Nesso. B&B “Masso Grasso” is in the ancient center of Nesso, a village half way between Como and Bellagio. The “Masso Grasso” is the ideal place for those looking for a quiet place surrounded by nature and beauty. The house is in the ancient part of the village. Its charme is intact. Bus arriving from Como or Bellagio. Bus stop at 300m.

Ampia camera matrimoniale in elegante palazzo d’epoca in un quartiere residenziale di fronte al Duomo a pochi minuti dal centro storico e lago. La stanza,molto luminosa, ha un balcone privato con sedie che permette di rilassarsi e godere del panorama. Il letto ha un materasso in memory con armadi e accessori pregiati e un pavimento in parquet dell’epoca. Bagno privato con doccia. Su richiesta preparo colazione e cene. The room is located in the historical centre of the village in a secluded and silent courtyard and suits couples, private retreats and families...It can be an ideal starting point for day trips on foot, relax and cultural tours on the shores of Lake Como as it is situated within distance from Como (15 km) and Bellagio (20 km). The village is located 600 meters above sea level. The lake can be reached by car in 10 minutes. Parking is outside the village, a 5-minute walk away.The route is uphill.

Located on the top floor of the villa, this Penthouse Premier Suite Apartment with air conditioning welcomes you in a living/dining room with a characteristic white wooden beamed ceiling and a fully equipped kitchen. It boasts 3 arcade windows and 4 further windows overlooking the lake. The elegant bedroom with a double bed has an en-suite bathroom with a multifunction shower cabin complete with steam bath, chromotherapy and radio. The suite faces a panoramic balcony of 12 sqm. with arcades.

Welcome to the old fisherman village of Morcote. Relax in our beautiful old stone house, which was built around 1650. Enjoy our lush oriental garden, full of flowers and plants, from which you have a spectacular view of the lake. Our house is just a few steps from restaurants and the lake, where you can easily swim. Ideal location for hiking and visiting cities, both in Switzerland and Italy. Upon your needs we serve breakfast in our lush garden for Fr 13.- per person

On the first floor there are two rooms en-suite with private entrance. You can make your own breakfast in the hall below in front of the fireplace when it is lit (in winter) or in the small external garden under the gazebo (in summer). We serve a typical Italian breakfast: handmade cakes and biscuits, bread, butter and marmalade, yogurt, cereals, fruit juices, milk, coffee, tea and also, upon request, we do also have ham, cheeses, eggs

La stanza è dotata di letto matrimoniale, bagno con doccia, TV, bollitore, appendi abiti e doppio terrazzo. Uno dei terrazzi è arredato con divanetti o seggioline, ideale per godersi il Lago durante il tramonto mozzafiato o la breva, il vento locale che sale dal lago nel primo pomeriggio.
