Sugarland Farmhouse

The Sugarland cottage is designed to accommodate up to 8 guests. It has a full kitchen, bathroom with shower, two bedrooms, one with a queen bed and the other with a double and 2 twin beds. Downstairs is a pull out queen sized Murphy bed. Situated in a major southern Wisconsin tourism area, Sugarland cottage is close to the Wisconsin River and only 30 minutes from Madison and 10 minutes from Spring Green home of Frank Lloyd Wright’s Taliesin, American Player’s Theater, and House on the Rock.

We are pet friendly for well behaved dogs with a $25/night pet fee per dog. Beautiful views out the large living room windows look onto green, sandbars, islands and the undeveloped distant shores of the Wisconsin River as it opens up into Lake WI.

Enjoy nearby restaurants, coffee shops, and a neighborhood bar just 2 blocks away. We have a well-stocked chef’s kitchen and the covered front porch is perfect for relaxing. Off-street parking for up to 3 vehicles. Note: This is our primary home, shared with guests while we travel. No pets.

YurtCation

YurtCation is a relaxing getaway with lake frontage and nature trails. There is another yurt about 300ft up the same driveway. There are a total of two yurts and two homes that have access to the same 17 acre lake. Each yurt is off the grid and has their own queen-sized comfy bed, wood stove, Weber grill w/charcoal, fire pit, firewood, fresh water, canoe, and clean Porto Potty. Pet Policy: Max two - Must be in your sight and supervised at all times or $500 fine and check out immediately.

Cottage in the Valley, 50 acres

In a quiet valley with rolling hills and a small trout stream. There is a full bedroom, full bathroom and an additional loft sleeping space. (UPDATE loft is no longer accessible, our health inspector said it was not safe). There is a futon in the living area. Some workshops and on farm experiences offered, be sure to ask.
