The portal is an overnight experiential stay by artist Steven Ochs, for travelers looking to jump off to the next dimension. Our 3 room home's highlight is the fully mirrored experience with sound /mood lighting for play & sleep. We have a cat meme lounging experience in the media room also, both of these have won Best-in-Show at Rose City Comic Con. Private lake access starts June 17 and ends August 27: only blocks away for a wonderful summer trip. We're only 15 minutes from Portland on I-5

You will sleep on a queen memory foam mattress with cotton linens. A third person can sleep on an inflatable mattress or Play n Pak. There is a 55-inch smartTV with free Netflix, Apple TV, and Prime TV, along with books and games. The patio and gazebo are also available and are the smoking areas. This suite in my house has a private entrance and yard. There are no shared spaces and there is a lock on both sides of the sound-baffled door to the main house to value your privacy as well as mine.

Hidden Garden Cottage

This 850 sf. cottage is a century old but was completely updated 12 years ago with era-appropriate furnishings, giving it a period (and safe) feel. Breakfast goodies, art, books, and a woodstove make it cozy. It sits on half an acre so lots of room for kids . It's in SW Portland, minutes from downtown. It's quiet, great for working or vacationing. An outdoor fire pit and gardens make it unique. There's even a zip line for kids. Family gatherings also fine. (Note: There is a $60 fee per dog.)

All bedrooms have closets, one bedroom has a desk and chair for a work space if needed. There is a yoga space set up in the garage w/ mat and mirrors that you are welcome to use. High speed internet and a fully fenced in back yard with a covered space, table and chairs for relaxing or entertaining.
