Blackberry Cottage is a beautiful mountain getaway near Lake Santeetlah and surrounded by acres of Nantahala Forest. A great place to relax, connect, and get outdoors - whether it is swimming, paddling, fishing, hiking, or biking! Close to Joyce Kilmer Memorial Forest and Cherohala Skyway. A 10 minute walk to the lake and adjacent hiking trails. Enjoy your time lounging on the screened-in porch, cooking out on the griddle, sitting by the fire pit on the back deck, or soaking in the hot tub.

Mountain House Rental at the Lake

This is a four season vacation spot. Create your own memories in the western North Carolina mountains by Lake Chatuge! Enjoy great hiking, boating, fishing, and much more! Take advantage of the hiking and biking on the Jack Rabbit Mountain trails along the shores by Lake Chatuge. Winter discounts available from January 1 until March 31. OPTIONAL MINI COTTAGE (for a third bedroom that sleeps 2) with Queen sized bed and TV but no extra bathroom for an extra $25 per night plus $25 cleaning.

Welcome to PaddleFin! You will enjoy the beautiful lake and mountain views from the large deck on the house and a deck close to the water. This is a peaceful retreat - cell phone service is not available or very limited, no Wi-Fi, and no TV service. We allow A MAXIMUM of 4 guests! There is one king bed and one queen bed. We currently have two kayaks (one single and one two-person), two paddleboards, and a canoe available for use by our guests. Paddles and life jackets are included.

A wash area with a hose is available for vehicles, and your group will love spending time in the game room complete with a pool table and poker table.
