Close by lies the vegetable garden, and friendly cows graze just over the fence. Further out over surrounding farmland you can see Tongariros snow capped mountains in the distance, so sit back and enjoy. This treetops lakeview retreat is located on the South Western side of Lake Taupo. Tongariro Crossing, Mt Ruapehu Skifield, Turangi Adventure Tourism, hotpools, great bush walks and trout fishing are all within close proximity. Admire lake views and listen to birdsong from the treetops. Enjoy barista style coffee, grab a book and simply relax and enjoy the views from the expansive deck. At night, why not barbecue with drinks on the deck or in the winter, enjoy the ambience of the warm fire!

The boat ramp is a short two min drive and we are seven minutes by car to Taupo township. The perfect spot for your next break. The views are amazing! A special Kiwi experience!

A 5mins drive from town or the lake or a 15mins walk to either. The entire home and garden are yours to enjoy. If cosy, private, quiet and a 'Home Away From Home' are what you are looking for, this small, 2-bedroom gem is it. Suitable for a maximum of two adults, you'll find a well-equipped kitchen, 2 comfy queen beds, Smart TV, bose speaker, sun deck, coffee machine and a roaring fire each evening. Off-street parking for 2 vehicles. Rear entrance is covered so you and your gear remain dry.

Fully self-contained 2 bedroom unit complete with wood burner (Wood Burner available from May to September only) or electric heater for those brisk Taupo winters. Peaceful sheltered surroundings, relaxing environment, all you need for a great getaway. There are views of the Waikato River from the bedroom window and walking/bike tracks nearby that lead to Spa Park where the adventure begins. PLEASE read the descriptions carefully BEFORE booking to make sure our unit is adequate for your need.

Our modern home is 15 minutes from Taupō yet feels like a private hideaway. Quiet and secluded, it looks out to Lake Taupō and Mount Ruapehu, with stunning sunsets. Ideal year-round, it has outdoor areas with BBQ, large windows and a double-sided fireplace. Whakaipo Bay is 5 minutes away for swimming or walking, with plenty of bush tracks nearby. Not suitable for children. Hairdryer, toiletries and iron not provided (sorry guests keep taking them and it’s to hard to constantly replace).
