This cabin is located just off of the banks of the Cape Fear River. It overlooks our family's 147 acre private fishing pond known as Greene's Pond. This location is the best kept secret in North Carolina. We have a variety of cabin types located on the property as well as an RV park. During your stay you can enjoy fishing, boating, kayaking, walking trails & the best views. LOCATED ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF OAK ISLAND Dr. NO MAJOR Road TO CROSS. Crossing the G.V. Barbee Bridge which is the closest to our home, a nostalgic feeling comes over you! This timeless town has attracted families year after year since the early 19th century. Our 10 miles of beach will always be our main attraction perfect for every outdoor activity

The Beach Break at the West End of Oak Island

Enjoy a quiet Oak Island vacation at this mid-century modern beach house. 60's surf vibe with a perfect third row location for families with walkable, low traffic access to the beach and sound. The beach at the access by the house is typically not crowded even on holidays. The sound access nearby is frequented by kayakers/paddle-boarders. Historic Southport and Wilmington are nearby (25 and 40 min respectively) with just over an hour drive to Myrtle Beach. Mid-June-Aug Sun-Sund stays only.

A great place for relaxation, enjoy some alone time or family time. Some new updates have recently been done to the Living room, Dining/Sun Porch area the lake view from inside the house is even better than before! There are two different shelters on the pier where you can relax and enjoy the sunsets. You are driving distance from the state park where you can enjoy hiking. There are several spots around the lake for good fishing. Grocery store, variety store and gas station are near by.
