We are empty nesters living upstairs- available if needed, yet fully respectful of your privacy and quiet hours.

Bird's Nest Cozy Farm Getaway

The Birds Nest is an above-the-garage studio apartment with a view of the valley and our working farm. Located at the end of a quiet dirt road, our 36 acres provide a respite for the body and soul with trails and vistas, and engage the mind in sustainable agriculture with a discount on our Farm Tour & Tasting. Our water is from a well. It is tested regularly and is completely safe though it can have a sulfur smell at times. There is an RO filter/faucet in the kitchen for drinking water.

Four bedroom home with attached one stall garage. Just a short 10 minute walk to Berlin Raceway or the Fairgrounds. Located half way between Grand Rapids and Grand Haven. Only 15 Minutes from Downtown Grand Rapids and 27 Minutes to Downtown Grand Haven. Large back yard just across the street from Cole Memorial Park. Located on the main road of Sweet little downtown Marne with a couple restaurants and a hardware store. On the weekends you can listen to the races from home.

What would it be like to live in a barn? Now you have an opportunity to find out! When you walk through the front door your eyes will be drawn upwards to the heights of the old-style mortise and tenon beams and 35 foot center peak. (Yes, our home is held together by wooden pegs!) As you walk around you will be surrounded by the yellow pine ceiling, walls, and floors. And you will smell the pine! We hope you will enjoy a quiet and restful escape to the country.

The Amberg House - a Frank Lloyd Wright Original

Staying in a house designed by Frank Lloyd Wright is a bucket list item for fans of America's most acclaimed architect. The Amberg House was completed in 1911 at the pinnacle of Wright's Prairie Style influence. Though every Wright home is special, the Amberg House is a unique collaboration between Wright and Marion Mahony. Mahony worked with Wright from 1896 until 1909. A graduate of MIT, she was the first woman to be licensed as an architect in the US.
