Jamala House is centrally located near Lamu Fort in the historic oldest part of Lamu. It is a quiet and private resort with a relaxing garden rebuilt to a high standard and reopened in 2018. All rooms have private baths with hot water. Jamala features a common kitchen, seating area and a rooftop with a great view of the sea. A continental breakfast can be enjoyed in the breakfast area. Sightseeing tours are available close to the property and dhow services can be arranged at a fair rate.

We have free wifi internet for our guests and during the day free coffee/tea. On arrival we serve a Welcome Drink, give a map of Lamu and plenty of useful information.
