'Waterside Studio' is a well appointed apartment in an annexe to the main house, but with private access. It is situated in a quiet part of a unique village, which has a sea dock, adjacent to the Lune Estuary and canal basin on a branch arm of the Lancaster Canal. Ideal for walkers, cyclists, bird watchers and anyone who likes all aspects of wildlife, boating and the sea. We are 5 m. south of the historically important University town of Lancaster. The village has a pub, village store and cafes.

There is phone signal & 4G but no Wifi so this place is like a retreat for you to truly unwind & relax, or use as a base for exploring the closeby stunning areas of the Yorkshire Dales & the Lake District. Two minutes from J35 off the M6 making it really easy to get to and get to other places too! There is also a beautiful canal walk straight from your log cabin to the local pub.

A romantic, stylish and cosy cottage for two in the beautiful Lake District National Park, half a mile from the shores of Lake Windermere and a 20 minute drive from Junction 36 of the M6. We are dog friendly. Our 250 year old cottage features modern rustic decor, u/f heating, log burner, super-fast internet, Smart TV, Sonos sound system and a complimentary podPoint 7kw EV charger. There are many wonderful walks and bike rides available from the front door. Stays start Mondays or Fridays.

The Quarters is in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and a great base to explore the Lakes, the coast, the Yorkshire Dales and the Trough of Bowland. It is close to restaurants, family-friendly activities, and public transport. Our place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers, families (with kids), big groups, and furry friends (pets). There are 3 pubs, 5 churches, a shop, garage, doctors, pharmacy and a Take-away. The more days you stay the cheaper the daily rate.
