Built in the 1920s, this older home is the perfect size for a couple or family looking to explore the Hocking Hills area or for some simple R&R. Rayburns Farmhouse has the country feel you are looking for but just 8 minutes from downtown Logan and restaurants/stores. Hocking Hills State Park is about 25 minutes from the house. The Oak Ridge House

Welcome to the Oak Ridge House. Just 5 miles North of I-70 and 5 miles south of State Rt.16. Our tree cover hillside is very close to Flint Ridge Nature Preserve and about 15 minutes from The Virtues Golf Club, Black Hand Gorge Nature Preserve and Sand Hollow Winery. It's a three bedroom home on 2 acres, one king size bed, one queen size bed, and the third room is a sitting room / hang out space with a futton. The enclose back porch is a great hangout space but is not heated. Gov. ID required.

1846 Farmhouse Retreat | Near Hocking Hills

Wake up to a view of a 19th-century gristmill right outside your window — then walk across the street to explore it. The Rock Mill Farmhouse is a thoughtfully renovated 1846 home that was once the dwelling of the mill's keeper, and it still carries that history in every room: exposed original siding and beams, a winding staircase, an original A-frame ceiling in the upstairs bedroom, and a few charmingly low doorways that keep tall guests humble.

My wife and I bought this house at a sheriff sale. We didn’t buy it with our brain, we bought it with our heart. “How stupid was that” We couldn’t continue to watch this unique house continue its march toward too far gone to fix.
