Cotswolds Holiday Cottage is nestled in the village of Hamsterley with unrestricted countryside views and within 1/2 mile to Hamsterley Forest popular with mountain bikers, horse riders and walkers alike . The beautiful village of Hamsterley boasts village greens and a fantastic local country pub. Enjoy a break with well behaved dogs and children more than welcome. Swinburne Castle

Swinburne Castle is perfectly situated within its own beautiful parkland and gardens. Traditionally decorated, parts of the house have tremendous history dating back to the 12th century. The east wing is extremely comfortable and private, and don't be perturbed by the stone steps leading down to the vaulted cellar. A delicious continental breakfast will be provided in your rooms. There is ample parking and a tennis court you are welcome to use. lovely footpaths from the house for keen walkers.

The cottage is a 2 bedroom mid terrace which sleeps 4 people. It comprises of entrance hall front living room with entertainment wall hosting the 58” smart TV. The dining room has a log burner. There is a well equipped fitted kitchen with dishwasher. A fully fitted bathroom with double ended bath and separated corner showeR. Oil central heating with double glazed anthracite windows and doors. Free car parking places front and rear of the property and a block paved private seating area.

Ivesley Cottage. The cottage is a two bedroom mid terrace property sleeping 4 people. It has an open planned dining/lounge with a log effect burner for cosy nights, a well equipped fitted kitchen, separate utility, a fully fitted bathroom (over bath shower), oil central heating, double glazed windows and composite outer doors. There is car parking to the front & private drive for 2 cars at the rear of the property, a block paved yard and a large garden with patio seating area.

Grange Cottage

The Grange is a very large cottage which can now sleep up to 11 people in four bedrooms. Over the last few months, we have done a lot of work to upgrade this cottage. We have replaced the main bathroom, and fitted a new kitchen (now with a dishwasher !!) Originally, this was 2 cottages, and we have now repurposed the second living room to be another double bedroom. If you have a large group of people, there is another table and more chairs in the cottage.

Beamish Stay - 3 minute drive from Beamish Museum

Beamish museum is located less than a 5 minute drive away. The South Causey is also located less than a 5 minute drive away. Durham city centre is a 15 minute drive away. Newcastle city centre is a 15 minute drive away. The Hilltop pub & restaurant is 1 minute walk from the property. The C2C cycle route is around a 5 minute cycle away. Property has a double drive, enclosed garden. Places of interest: Tanfield Railway 1.3 m Causey Arch 1.7 m

The Annexe

The Annexe on High Woodside Farm is an ideal location for couples or families who want to visit the North East of England It is a 15 minute drive to Durham and a 30 minute drive to Newcastle and Sunderland a 40 minute drive. The Annexe has an open plan kitchen, diner and lounge on the ground floor with a bathroom, consisting of toilet, sink and shower and 2 bedrooms on the first floor. It is very light and modern and has a small courtyard.

Swallow cottage offers everything you need for a peaceful getaway. A 17th century grade 2 listed barn, newly renovated to a high standard, maintaining original beams throughout and stonework. Step inside this spacious cottage and you will have everything you require for a wonderful stay. The space is very open plan and bright which brings the beautiful rolling views of the Tyne Valley countryside inside.

This is a large home in the small countryside Township of Tow Law. It has 3 large double bedrooms. 2 large reception rooms and a galley kitchen. The patio doors lead to a large enclosed yard which is covered with artificial grass and has seating. The house will be fully equipped with everything you need for your stay. We even have a games table and giant connect four to keep the kids entertained!
