This recently converted self contained private detached modern annexe is located within 15 minutes walk of Durham City centre with its world class University and Cathedral and is great for both holiday and business travellers. The Annexe is in the grounds of our larger house occupied by us, situated at the end of a private road near to Durham City centre. Newly converted stone Byre and Hemmel appointed to a very high standard. They are located on a working farm on the edge of the Durham Dales with amazing views and let as one. Jessie's Hut

Our first hut (Ben's hut) was so successful, we've built another one !! Set on a working sheep farm, Jessie’s Hut has a double bed with the option of a single bunk above, giving a 2+1 format. There's a shower room and a small kitchen area with a fridge, microwave, kettle and toaster. Wool-based insulation and central heating keep the hut cosy warm all year. Things to see include:- Beamish Museum (a must see!!), The Roman Wall, Durham, Kilhope Lead mining Museum and The Metro Centre.

The Annexe

The Annexe on High Woodside Farm is an ideal location for couples or families who want to visit the North East of England It is a 15 minute drive to Durham and a 30 minute drive to Newcastle and Sunderland a 40 minute drive. The Annexe has an open plan kitchen, diner and lounge on the ground floor with a bathroom, consisting of toilet, sink and shower and 2 bedrooms on the first floor. It is very light and modern and has a small courtyard.
