CasaDelViento - Nature Retreat

Tapada da Raia

Tapada da Raia has 35 acres of land, in the Natural Park of Serra de São Mamede (being the last Portuguese house, because it is bordered to Spain). For years it served as an anti-stress refuge for the family, who today decided to open the doors for those who want to spend relaxing days in the nature. The rustic-style house features the necessary amenities for an invigorating holiday, away from the hustle and bustle of the city, where even time seems to take longer to pass. Hope you like it!

Isabella - Refúgio Campestre em Marvão

Casa das Pedras is the starting point for paths that explore the history and charms of Northern Alentejo. Located in the Serra de São Mamede National Park, it is just a few minutes from Marvão and Castelo de Vide. Casa das Pedras is over 200 years old and was restored by us. It is a Quinta where you can relax under 100 olive trees, cork oaks and fruit trees. The modern studio accommodates a couple and a child with the comfort of country life. Entrando na vila pelas Portas de Ródão e olhando em frente à direita, o visitante depara com a Casa da Silveirinha. Enquadrada, de um lado, pelas fragas que levam ao Castelo e, do outro, pela imensidão da paisagem circundante, a Casa proporciona a quem nela repousar a sensação de recuar no tempo e tornar-se guardião da entrada na vila.

Stone cottage in the Natural Park Serra S. Mamede

Our little stone cottage lies on a stream and has views of the beautiful hills and meadows full of olive and cork trees. In the garden you will find some fruit trees, herbs and flowers. Not far there is a nice waterfall to enjoy hot summer days. This is a peaceful place to relax. Here you can get immersed in nature's beauty, enjoy the sky full of stars and listen to the sheep's bells chiming.
