Originally built in the 1880’s, its thick adobe walls, original mud floors, reed ceilings and thatched roof are natural insulators against the heat and cold of the Little Karoo. Located in a quiet corner of the village, the cottage is perfect for couple getaways, to explore this historical town and surrounding winelands.

Lénor Guest Cottage offers accomodation for up to two people. The unit consists of: - A Private Bathroom with shower - Double Bed - Fridge - Microwave - Coffee Station You will have a separate entrance into a tranquil garden leading to a stand alone Guest suite. It is separate from the main house and has its own front and very private back garden which makes it ideal for a romantic getaway. It has secure off street parking, a fully equipped modern kitchen and an en suite bathroom with shower. The start of several hiking trails is only 350 meters from the cottage making it the perfect base for the more adventurous.

About an hour and a half from Cape Town, near the Nuy valley, Amandalia farm is home to Saggy Stone Brewery and now 6 unique A-Frame cottages situated within a private nature reserve. Another 2 stone cottages complete the bouquet of accommodation.

It has a gas stove, solar geyser and an inverter so TV, lights, fridge and wifi not affected at all. It is well-equipped for long stays, centrally located in the Robertson wine valley on route 62. Enjoy lovely views of the vineyards, orchards and moutains.
