Welcome to Oro. Boutique, private, fully self contained accomodation set within an old tobacco barn. Situated just 20 minutes from Bright, this masterpiece of Australian landscape is cradled by mountains, Happy Valley Creek and 20 acres of delightful farmland. Take a verandah seat to watch the morning mist quietly rise. Observe the abundant wildlife who are happy to call Oro home, or be intoxicated by the afternoon ‘golden hour’. Oro, a place of provision, unfolding beauty, rest and refreshment.

Shopfront accomodation in the main street

The Lighthouse at 113 Albury Street is situated in the main street of Holbrook close to shops and eateries and 35mins to Albury. A unique stay in that it is an original residence totally renovated to suit the needs of our guests. Building erected around 1905 of timber construction for the purpose of a jewellery store, funeral directors and nursery. It was not lived in for around 10yrs. We were lucky enough to purchase the property in 2017............... The upstairs bedroom is a mezzanine floor.

Our fully renovated three bedroom Cottage on the picturesque Maragle Creek provides the perfect location for resting, walking, birdwatching, fishing and platypus viewing. Visit Tumbarumba Rail Trail,Paddy's River Falls, Hume & Hovell Trackheads, Sculpture Trail,Southern Cloud Lookout, Mt Selwyn Snowfield & Upper Murray drives. Modern additions to the Cottage include central heating, wifi, fully equipped new kitchen, BBQ & fire pit. Sadly we can't accept children under 12 yrs of age or hunters.

Turn of the century "Farm Worker's Cottage" that became part of Tumbarumba as this picturesque little mountain town has grown over the last 100 years. Originally part of the Snowy's farming land holdings, it's now just a short distance from beautiful parklands, Rail Trail, delightful cafes, wineries, trout fishing, & historical walking tracks such as the Hume & Hovell National Trail. With ski fields within easy access, there is something to satisfy every adventure & taste throughout the year.
