Cozy apartment & sauna in the center of Saariselkä

Welcome to my holiday home in the heart of Saariselkä – only a few minutes' walk away of Urho Kekkonen National Park trailheads. I renovated and furnished my home completely in 2023 with all modern amenities while preserving the traditional stone-built fireplace and Finnish sauna. With three beds upstairs and a large sofa bed downstairs, the accommodation is comfortable for various types of groups. The remote working space, fully equipped kitchen and laundry also make it ideal for a longer stay.

Tämän mökin pihaan voit laskea suoraan Suomen pisimmästä laskettelurinteestä! Takapihalta lähtee myös lumikenkäreitti Ylläksen tunturiin. Tässä kohteessa pärjäät myös ilman autoa. Tervetuloa nauttimaan rauhallisesta lomasta kauniiden maisemien keskelle.

Terva-Karkon torppa Suvannon museokylässä

Tällaiseen majapaikkaan ei Airbnb:ssä usein törmää. Yli 130-vuotias hirsimökki Suvannon kulttuuriperintömaisemassa vie asukkaansa aikamatkalle 1800-luvun peräpohjalaiskylään. Kohde sopii parhaiten Lapin luonnon, historian ja hiljaisuuden ystävälle, joka ei pelkää talvella pimeää eikä kesällä sääskiä. Please note: there is no public transportation to the village, no toilet in the main building, nor a shower. There is a separate sauna building outside and a traditional outhouse behind the sauna.

The cabin lies on an island, the last part needs to be walked over the ice (safe from mid-December till April) or rowed with our small rowing boat (included). A cabin for those who want to cocoon surrounded by nature, gaze at northern lights undisturbedly, discover untouched snowy forests on snowshoes (included) and sleep in absolute silence.

Fully equipped log cottage in Nuorgam, the northernmost village in Finland. Karetörmä has breathtaking views of River Teno. Enjoy the Northern lights show relaxing in the jacuzzi. You have privacy, but the grocery stores are just 5 mins away. Enjoy the winter activities in the Arctic Tundra: cross country skiing, snowmobiling, ice fishing, husky- and reindeer sledding. Make trips to Norway and see the Arctic Ocean. In the summer season, you can go fishing, mountain biking, and hiking.

Charming cottage with all the amenities on a large plot. The distance to the center of Rovaniemi is only about 25 km. The distance to Santa Claus Village or the airport is also about 25 km. No public transport. The roads are well maintained even in winter. The cottage is easy to get to. If you wish, transportation can be arranged by Mercedes Benz Vito car for an additional fee. Rafi Village Resort - Aurora Cabin 4

Hiljaisuuden kylän mökit ovat käsin veistetty 30 vuotta sitten. Vuonna 2023 mökit ovat täysin uudistettu. Mökistä löytyy oma wc, kahvinkeitin, vedenkeitin, mikro ja jääkaappi. Mökin terassilta löytyy puulla lämmitettävä kylpytynnyri, joka on erikseen tilattavissa. Alueella on päärakennus josta löydät a-oikeuksilla varustetun ravintolan, jossa tarjoillaan aamiainen sekä valmistetaan tilauksesta päivällistä. Päärakennuksessa myös erilliset wc:t ja suihkut naisille ja miehille.
